The base was a wreck.
Wrappers everywhere, rats scampering, toys squeaking.
Zazuzu stood in the middle, silent. He was looking away, his left hand on forehead with his right hand supporting his arm.
"... How did it come to this?" He mumbled. A door opened, and a squeaky voice called out,
Cimama sighed, holding a broom. Today was her day to sweep the base. Everyone else had gone somewhere to relax for the day, since every other day they studied, had plans, and conducted their solemn meetings. She walked back upstairs, exiting the base, and sat on a seat beside the dinner table. She looked out the window- and something surprising happened.
"Wh- What was that?!" Cimama screamed. She leaped from her chair and charged to the door, grabbing onto the knob and thrusting her way outside. Her anti-barrier was on, of course. She ran up to the direction of the crash. As the smoke slowly cleared, she noticed it was a Keronian-Made UFO. It was horribly damaged from the crash.
A-Ack! Someone in there could be hurt! Cimama immediately noticed, and lunged forward to it. She forced the door open with her hands, although it took awhile. The first thing she saw was a small keronian, even smaller than her, crouched in a fetal position hugging her knees. She had a purple hat, and light gray skin. Her symbol was a broken rectangle divided into fourths, each individual square either red or dark red. Her eyes were squinted in fear.
Cimama was at a loss for words. Why did this keronian resemble her a bit?
"Uhm... Erm... A-Are you alright...?" Cimama finally spoke, clearing her throat to sound more responsible. The small keronian slowly opened her eyes and looked at her. Cimama gasped- her eyes looked almost the same to. But this was no time to be staring at her with curiosity beaming. This keronian could have been mentally traumatized by the crash, or so. Nobody else was even with her in the UFO.
But this small keronian seemed as surprised to see Cimama as Cimama was to see her. Finally, she spoke.
"... Are you.... Cimama...?" She asked. Cimama blinked twice and slowly nodded. The small keronian's expression suddenly brightened up quickly, and she leaped up onto her arms. Cimama yelped and fell back onto the ground.
"I was so scared! But I found you so easily!" The small keronian squeaked, hugging her. Cimama got up, supporting the gray keronian with her left hand so she wouldn't fall to the ground.
"You were looking for me?" Cimama asked, brushing dirt off of her legs.
"Yes!" The keronian replied, nodding rapidly. "And a keronian named... Zazuzu!"
Swiftly, Cimama jerked her head and stared at her. "W-What?"
"I'm looking for a keronian named Zazuzu!"
Cimama examined the keronian again. And then it hit her- This small keronian looked exactly like Zazuzu... and herself! ... How come, though?
"... Oh, yeah! We should probably clean this up. Teyu would kill me if I didn't," Cimama exclaimed. The keronian jumped off of her.
"I'll help you," she said. She searched inside of her wrecked UFO and took out a small watch. She wrapped it on and pressed a small button, and the mess began to slowly dissolve. It took about two minutes for the spot to look the same as before.
"What is that?!" Cimama exclaimed. I need to buy one...
"It's my Zama Ball!" The keronian replied. Cimama noticed, that unlike the kero-ball, it only had two buttons.
"This button is for cleaning small messes. I can only use it to clear messes as big as the one I just cleaned," The keronian explained.
Well, there goes my insurance.
"What does the other one do?" Cimama asked.
"This one... Is for..," She suddenly looked away sadly. "Um, I'll tell you later," She suddenly said, and looked back up. She grinned.
What should I do with her? I can't just leave her out here alone... Cimama pondered. "... Well, follow me. I'll bring you inside. What's your name?"
"My name... Is Zamama!"
